1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including account details, profile information, contact information, sitter or parent role details, availability, booking requests, messages, emergency contacts, support requests, and billing-related information.

We may also collect device, log, usage, and cookie information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

2. Platform and Login Data

If you choose to sign in with or connect a third-party platform, such as Meta or Facebook, Babypool only requests the permissions needed for the disclosed app experience. We use platform data to authenticate your account, connect your Babypool profile, and support the feature you approved. We do not sell platform data.

If you connect your Facebook profile to Babypool, Babypool may request access to your Facebook profile URL so we can save and display a verified Facebook profile link on your Babypool profile for trust and profile verification.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to create and administer accounts, provide scheduling and matching features, process bookings, support communication between parents and sitters, provide customer support, process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve Babypool.

4. How We Share Information

We share information with other Babypool users when needed for the service, such as sharing booking details between a parent and sitter. We also use service providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, email delivery, infrastructure, and payment processing. These providers are authorized to use information only as needed to provide services to Babypool.

5. Privacy Choices

You can update account information in the app, delete your account from Profile settings while signed in, manage analytics cookies through the Privacy Choices control available on the site, and contact us to request access or correction of your information.

Account deletion removes your Babypool profile, bookings, sitter profile, pool records, messages, emergency contacts, push tokens, and sign-in account. Some security, fraud-prevention, legal, billing, and recordkeeping information may be retained where required.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain information as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the service, or as required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, and recordkeeping purposes.

8. Changes to Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update this page and provide notice as required by law.
